In 2005 Edouard left France for Brazil and was immediately captivated by the abundance of Icaraizinho’s nature, predominantly the perfect wind conditions and empty ocean. A waterman, who’s surfed and sailed for many years all over the world developing an in-depth knowledge of the ocean and wind. He’s an IKO level 2 Kite Instructor and has his BPJEPS sailing qualification. He teaches both kite and windsurfing.
Roxanne is a South African with a strong affection for people and the ocean. She runs the day-to-day of the pousada, supervises the restaurant team, and ensures all is running smoothly for guests to enjoy a memorable stay. Between operating the sewing machine at Reco Kite, her kite recycling and repair service and looking after Tom and Jules, she finds some time to enjoy a kite or windsurfing session.
